What is the best way of ridding my rifle of its teflon coating? Are there any chemical methods?

To put it mildly, I'm very unhappy with the teflon. It looked great when new but looks like a POS now.

I did it once by blasting mine with glass-beads (sand blasting with glass instead of sand.) Worked great.

Only way I have found is to blast it off with sand or beads.

It was once suggested here that you could scrub it off using laquer thinner and "bronze wool" (steel wool could scratch). Don't know if that works or not. I sold the teflon-coated action I had. Beadblasting is probably the best/fastest/safest method.
