I had to move the front sight quite a bit but, this 30-30 now shoots 2-3" right of aim, which is a LOT better than it was before I made this adjustment. It had been shooting 10 inches right of aim.I'll need to tap the rear sight to get those 2-3"as the front sight is waaaay off center, looks really strange being that far off, however, gun will now shoot minute of deer at 100 yds!Oh well, better to have an ugly gun that shoots straight rather than a looker that won't hit the barn if you stood inside of it!I had shot up all of my ammo adjusting the front sight and couldn't finish the job.As I post this I am tumbling the brass and will reload tonite so I can finish this project, hopefully, before saturday as that is our deer opener. Not to worry though as the 30-30 is my back-up gun.The '06 is 1st choice. Many thanks to all those that responded to my initial post.I couldn't have done this without you!
