Nate - I've seen this problem with several USPs - nearly all of them have been shooter induced. If you're gripping the pistol with a "high thumb" grip and resting the thumb even lightly on/against the safety, this can cause the decocking mechanism to trip during recoil. Check your thumb position, if this isn't the cause then you should probably send this pistol back to HK for warranty work... Regards, Kevin | ||

gunner- thanks for the advice, will check it out. i don't think that's the problem, after 10k rounds i don't think that i've changed much, but i may, only recently started drawing from the holster. that may be it. thanks for the input though. nated | ||
