We received said rifle in the shop today with the complaint of failure to extract. The bolt electropencil matches last three of SN. Barrel is a Featherweight chambered in .270 Win. Bolt face is for a Magnum hence it won't grab the rim causing the problem. A NOS replacement bolt body and extractor are available at $350. I am wondering if this can be bushed to adapt it to the smaller rim and have a standard extractor fitted? If so who would like to take it on? PM me with estimated cost and time frame so we can quote the customer.

Yes it can, and I have done it, but why don't we just trade bolts.....I have standard ones....PM me.
