Has any one used those Swede barrel from Samco? What is the deal on them...

I got one for an M38 about a year ago. It was brand new and installed easily.

PyrotekMaterial is the same in both barrels : steel with slight copper content. Brand new barrels are in the white meaning not blued.

Eric AnsgarMK - The M-38 has a down-turned bolt handle whereas the m96 has a straight bolt handle. Rifling etc is the same in both models. Chekc the brass disc on the stock and if the there is a a little triangle mark over the 1 or 2, the barrel doesn't need replacing - heck most "3" barrels still shoot very well. Whatever you do PLEASE don't cut a nice looking old Swede unless it has been "sporterized" already.
Are these rifle barrels made by the company that made the swedes. I tried buying one from SAMCO but they would not sell me one becuse I do not live in Australia.
