Went to the pistol range today to work off some aggression. On the way out I always look at the guns for sale and ran across something "special". It was a large frame Smith that had target grips, about a 6 inch barrel and had been modified to double action only with an incredible short trigger pull. It had a rib on the barrel with some great sights. On the barrel was etched real fancy Cheshire and Perez, Monrovia, Ca. Oh yea, 38 spec. What is it and what is it worth. He has 550 on it. I seem to have developed this twitch I can't control. Society of Intolerant Old Men. Rifle Slut Division.

It was most likely a PPC match pistol. (Practical Pistol Competition) A shooting discipline that was very popular with police officers.
