Gentlemen,

I was wondering what would be the approximate cost to convert a CZ 550 in .458 Win Mag to a .458 Lott. From the searches I've done on the forum it looks like the main thing involved is chamber reaming but I have no idea how much this would cost. The reason I ask is I can obtain a CZ .458 WM locally for about $200 less than I can obtain a CZ .458 Lott. Would it be more cost effective to purchase the Win Mag and have the smithing done or to pay the $200 more for the Lott? Also, anyone know any smiths in the Houston/San Antonio area who could do this work?
