Does anyone know the muzzle diameter of both the guide gun and african model in 375 ruger and 338 RCM? Does the shorter barrel of the guide gun have a heavier muzzle diameter than the african? Thanks.

I measured my alaskan and african, both at the muzzle before and after the sight band and they both measured the same. So if you cut down the african (23" to 20") you would have a thicker muzzle. Hope this helps...These were both the 375 Ruger.
