flacoDayton/Traister Mauser Trigger?
I've used Timneys on my projects so far, but someone just alerted me to the fact that the Dayton/Traister is much smaller, alleviating the need to take all of that wood out of the sometimes fragile stock web.
Does this trigger pass muster?
TIA,
flaco

Steve E.I recently installed my first Dayton Traister on my latest Mex and really like it. It is smaller than the Timney(which I always used before) but it does have to have a little room to move. It pivots on the pin that secures it to the action, not much but enough to be aware of. I think I'll be using D/T's a lot more.

Mauser98I've got D-T's on two Mausers and Timmneys on another two. I don't see any difference in performance between them and the D-T's were definately easier to inlet for. They are virtually the same profile as the military triggers.

jeffeossoThe Dayton is FAR smaller... i used this in my 550 express, for exactly the reason of having more wood left in the stock.
