I haven't had the chance to take one out to the range yet but I have seen and handled several complete pieces at the local Gun Shop. They seem to be a solid rifle but somewhat rough finished. It should be a good "beat around gun"

The ones I have looked at were priced around $349.00 w/ the black plastic stock but for around $360.00 my dealer also has the Howa 1500 which is a much smoother more highly finished gun.
