I'm converting a Sako M-75 to a 330 Dakota, and I need to purchase a new detachable box magazine, What caliber magazine should I get? The action is the right size, Sako's V action. Thanks--Don

Let me ask another way, in case anybody knows...Will the 300 RUM mag fit a 330 dakota case??

You will have no problem using the stock mag, especially if it is a 300 RUM. The Dakota and the RUM are both based on the 404 Jefferies case. The Sako mag is a center feed as most all detach. mags are so there will not be a problem feeding. THe 330 Dakota is a great cartridge, I have taken one Moose with it and and have seen two others taken, it is all you need for anything that walks in Nort America, just choose your bullets carefully, they tend to break up if not constructed solidly. bigbull, thanks very much. I was in process of looking at cartridge specs to make and educated guess. The 300 RUm mag's should be available for this V action. Regards--Don
