I'm curious if any one owns or has worked on a sako A-2 that has a sticky bolt. It is not real bad but it is annoying, keeping it lubed helps but I was wondering if jewling helps. I use to have an older browning that had a sako action the bolt was as smooth as silk, if I took that bolt and put it into the A-2 the bolt is as smooth as the old Browning. the ony differance between the bolts are the finish one is bare metal and the other is chrome, besides the lenth of the bolt the measurements are +- 10 thou. I am just looking for some insite.

I would check the collars that hold the bolt guide on the bolt. If they are oversize they would bind in the rear bridge.
