Appears to be made by Jim Wisner. Can you positively concur the maker and does anyone know the fair value? I couldn't find one for sale anywhere. Thanks. Ray

Jim made lots of parts for Mausers in the past and the JW marked on the plastic made me think of him. I sent him a PM, no answer yet.

I bought a new 1910 Mex extractor about 5 years ago and paid 20 for it. I'm guessing one would run around 40 - 60 now.

Heck, new std 98 extractors are selling for near that nowadays.

Look at the underside of the extractor, you can see a 4 stamped in the collar cut, that means 4150 steel.

If it has a MM stamped between the collar cut and the locking lug cut it is a Mexican Mauser extractor.

I have not made them in about 12 years or so now, they were retailing for $ 40 then.

Sorry but none left on hand anymore.
