I can't find any information on this pistol from my usual sources. It's marked EMC Santa Ana CA. Anyone know about these? Thanks John Farner If you haven't, please join the NRA! | ||

Is it stainless? This is a stretch, but I think EMC was associated with Vega. IIRC they primarily made frames and slides (kinda like Essex ) but don't take this as gospel! for every hour in front of the computer you should have 3 hours outside | |||

A quick google shows that Brownells carries at least a 1911 hammer made by EMC, so you could get contact info from them at least. for every hour in front of the computer you should have 3 hours outside | |||

Yes, it looks like stainless but I think the frame may be hard-chrome. I haven't disassembled it yet. I found that hammer at Brownells but didn't come up with anything else on it. None listed at any of the auction sites. John Farner If you haven't, please join the NRA! | |||
