Ruger No. 1 part needed. HELP!

As you may know Ruger will not sell parts to almost anyone. "Send the gun in" is the packaged answer. They can't seem to understand that they never made a Ruger No.1 African in 450 Nitro #2 3.5" !
The ejector (gunsmith modified from a 458 WinMag) is not working 100%.
Wondering (hoping) if anyone has one from a 45-70, 470 Nitro, 450-400 or 9.3x74 I could purchase ?
Thanks for your assistance.

About the only part Ruger hasn't sold me was a barrel. Otherwise, they have sold me everything I've requested.

I, too, have bought most every part from Ruger directly and I think they sell ejectors. Stocks, however, they will not sell. Have to send the rifle in. I explained that I have fit hundreds of stocks and I will take all responsibility. NO. Send it in. Which I did.

Well perhaps but the people I spoke with at Ruger YESTERDAY said no way Jose.

As of Tuesday GunParts had NO Ruger ejectors and the tech at Brownells said they don't even stock them.

So, I'm still looking. Thanks.

I would think that extractor could be made to work; something is hanging up.

Hey Larry Root'

You posted on the big bore forum you only had one #1, a red pad .375. Now you've also got one in 450 Nitro #2 3.5" ? You are so dense you can't even remember where you were or to whom you lied to last. Pathetic

No, my friend (name unknown) I said I only had one 375 H&H (that was the thread's topic, not Ruger No. 1s.)

Neither a liar or pathetic ..... at least you got my name right ..... too bad you and the other stalkers are too cowardly to man up and reveal yours' and in such a hurry to slander others you can't even get the thread's subject correct.

As for No 1/3s, I have a few: 22-250, 7x57, 30-40 Krag, 300 H&H, 35 Whelen and the 450 Nitro #2. 3.5".

Stop by Pinedale next summer and you can see them all. I may even take you up to the range if you can be civil.

Now, if you can help with the part, I'd love to hear from you ..... otherwise stop being a troll.

Yep, I got your name right, not at all hard to figure out. You really should use your real name Larry, we all know who/what you are. Care to share with us why you show up with a different screen name every other month posting like you actually know what you're talking about.
I almost (but not quite) feel sorry for you.

Good news. I went back to Numrich after failing the first time and was able order a 416 Rigby ejector, spring and plunger.
I hope that with a bit more care than the reuse of the 458 ejector, it will correct the problem.

For all who provided advice and suggestions, thanks very much !

Just received notice that parts have shipped.
I'm sure fitting it will be an interesting task
but failing that it's off to a family member who owns a CAD milling machine.
Wish me luck !
