Have an old model Redfield 102 e, recvr mounted on an old Mauser carbine. Not quite sure how to make verticle and horizontal adjustments. It looks like this one:

Which screws do what?
On a 20 in sight radius about how much adjustment on the rear peep sight is need to effect say 6 inches at 50 meters? I got a D in high school trig.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

No Plea

The answer is .067" for 6 inches at 50 yards.

To move the windage, loosen the screw on the side you want to move toward some and just break loose the other one. Push the aperature over and tighten both screws. The screw heads just wedge it tight on the angles. The elevation looks like you loosen the big screw and adjust with the little set screw then re-tighten the big screw.
