Any of you boys know who makes a Scout Type Mount, with a Picatinny Rail design???

I would like to do a set up like that on a couple of Mausers, so that I don't have to have the bolt bent, as I want to keep them that way for Nostalgia's sake....but my lousy eye sight needs a scope...

( yeah I am strange like that...)...

Thanks for any and all responses..

cheers

Seafire,

Check into Weaver-style rails designed to fit Contender and Encore (two different sizes) barrels. If you can stomach a stepped barrel they might work. The scope bell would likely end up in front of the action ring rather than above it.

At the other end of the price spectrum I know someone who had several barrels made with integral 3 leaf express sight ribs, that were milled to accept Brownell (Kimber?) QD rings. Very neat.
