Not very attractive but does this metal increase the # of rounds down and by how much? Can a more traditional bottom metal be fitted?

Sort of looks like someone put together a Californica, mule deer, assault system. No idea if it could be converted to a hinge floor plate without having it in my hands and measuring things.
When I was a kid. I had the stick. I had the rock. And I had the mud puddle. I am as adept with them today, as I was back then. Lets see today's kids say that about their IPods, IPads and XBoxes in 45 years!

Don MarkeyHave to see the bottom, but looks like it was adds to a fn. so converting back should just be a matter of finding the old parts.

And you have the mags taped back to back so that you can just pull and flip em over after chambering the 8th round.
