No, Shawnee is two blocks from me and in business. I have the number at my shop. I'll post it tomorrow. I'm sure you can find the address on Google.

I don't know what Shawnies trouble is. Twice in the last 5 weeks she has promised to ship a reamer to me. Still no reamer and she does not return calls.

Wally,
Unless you want a reamer in some exotic caliber, you can likely find what you want at MidwayUSA, for around $77.00, not much more than the rental fee, i'm thinking. Unless this will be a one time deal, i'd buy one.

Their website has been unavailable for at least a couple days now. I think I'll try

www.4-dproducts.com

they also do reamer rentals. Anybody know of any other companies that rent reamers? I did a search on this site and saw some others mentioned but can find no contact info for them.

White Rock Tool & Die in KC rents reamers & gauges. No website but cheap. About $20 for most reamers, $8 for most gauge sets. He's fussy about condition. He sends them out in good shape and expects to get them back the same. Phone #816-454-0478

Oh.....

I ordered a .416 Taylor a few weeks ago from reamer rentals and I have not heard anything since. I had some e-mail contacts with them and they claimed to have the reamer on the shelfe and would send it the next day. No money have been taken from my Visa card.

Something seemes to be going on at reamer rentals......

Dave Kiff at PTG makes her reamers. Sometimes she can be hard to get ahold of. She goes to California now and then. I still need to get that phone number.

I get some of the oddball reamers or reamers I do not have much call for from them. I did notice that the website was down. If anyone can get a hold of them I would like to know.

I thought their website said they used PPG reamers.

4D uses manson or ptg and will have them altered to use a floating pilot for a nominal fee if they aren't already.

Reamer Rentals is very much in business complete with computer troubles like you can't believe. I was talking to Dave Kiff the other day when I could not bring up there webisite or e-mail and the story goes like this. There website with there ordering and there customer orders and there telephone system is all in the same computer. Would anyone like to take a wild ass guess as to what happened????? You betcha charlie the whole thing fried. I got a thru to them at 541-471-9161 and the lady was very nice and remembered the reamer I had ordered and I got it this afternoon. I just tried there website and it still is not coming up. Anyone needing reamers may call there and get help. Please be nice because they are up to there neck in problems and they don't need anyone blowing off at them. Our industry needs this company and it is in all of our best interest to give them a hand.

Just what Dave told me. Shawnie contacted me yesterday and I got my reamer today. PTG reamers are worth waiting for and usually not much wait.
