I bought this rifle a while ago from a friend. Can you guys tell me anythign about it? I can't seem to find much on the net. I know its an FN action, but the bbl has "something something Francotte" stamped on it. Does that mean anything? I also found this one on the net and it looks very similar to mine but has the original wood stock. Mine started life as a 9x57, but was reamed to 35 (9mm) Brown Whelen. The bottom picture is the only one I have of it at this time sorry. Mine is the the bottom one with the fiberglass handle... The top picture is from the net, and the price tag was $4200????

August Francotte was/is (?) a Belgian firearms company known for their shotguns. I'm sure that what you have is a Francotte manufactured rifle using an FN action. "I ask, sir, what is the Militia? It is the whole people. To disarm the people is the best and most effective way to enslave them" - George Mason, co-author of the Second Amendment during the Virginia convention to ratify the Constitution
