I have CMP Springfield complete that I would like to trade for a 1896 krag Carbine a 1898 would also be a concideration. I wish to complete my collecton of military arms from the Civil war to WWII I let my only krag get away from me.

I don't know anything whatsoever about Krags but I did see one on the used gun rack at Cabelas in Owatonnna Mn about a week ago.

P. S. This post would have probably been better posted in the Classified Section rather than the Gunsmithing section.

My friend has an 1898 carbine (cutdown rifle) with the only mods being rear sight removed and redfield peep added(two holes) He may be interested as he has a bunch of money in that Krag. John's Gun Shop johnmzeigler@verizon.net 814-435-3544
