Has anyone ever extended the mag box in a Siamese Mauser? At the moment I can get about 2.85" COAL in mine and I'm wondering if it's possible to get 3 or 3.1" in the box.

A; That is a lot of work; much harder than a straight mag.
B; For little gain.
C; What cartridge are you putting in it.
D; Sure it could be done.
E; But I have not done it.

You'd likely be better off using a P14 Enfield action and contouring it to look like a Mauser. I think you can lengthen it a little but you will need to also grind back the lower locking lug feed ramp.
