More information on the commercial Mauser by Jon Speed. Extra Short Action and Original Left handed Mauser action were offered.
Some nice details on what the Mauser production put out between 1898 and 1946 on an otherwise boring super bowl sunday.

This is an article he wrote for the Mauser Collectors Association in Germany, I think. Some of it is in his big book but he throws in a lot of new info. that I haven't seen before. From what I read on the forums,
Mr. Speed is supposed to have a new book on commercial mausers at the end of 2005.

He is really quite knowledgeable on Mausers. I have his Brno ZKK602 in 375 he used while a warden in the Selous area.
