what age approx would a m70 classic with serial number G303XXX be?

To my knowledge, all that can be said is that it was made after July 20, 1981, when USRAC took over production from Olin.

USRAC apparently have not released year by year production data keyed to serial numbers.

I got this from another thread on another site. One of the posters seemed knowledgable about mod. 70 ser. #'s so I copied the thread.

G310XXX was built in 1999
G145XXX was built in 1996

I would guess your rifle was built 1998-1999.
