I have been trying to find Serial number age listing for S&W revolvers. Does anyone have a website or something for this?

Thanks

Not sure where else to post this.

1. call S&W
2.Look in the Blue Book
3.Look in Gun Digest
Google Smith and Wesson and see whats there.
I got a nice letter about my Mod 3 American for $50.00 several years ago and enjoyed talking the the recognised expert in S&W history at the same time. He gave me a lot of information over the phone. Nice guy but I mis forget is mname today. He erote aeveral books on S&W

Is it safe to let for a 58 year old man run around in the woods unsupervised with a high powered rifle?

You want a copy of "Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson" by Jim Supica and Richard Nahas, published in 1996 by Krause Publications. It has much of your information complete up to that date, 1995-6, and I have found it to be indespensable!!
