Bolt knob Alteration/Replacement

I hope this is the correct venue for this question.
Probably insignificant in the scope of gunwork discussions posted here, but I am asking for suggestions and or help.
I have a Commercial FN Mauser from the late 50's with the then common , flat checkered bolt knob.

I have never cared for them, and have steered clear of them purchasing Mauser actions with my preferred round knob. However the rifle in question is difficult to find in this caliber, and thus I bought it in spite of the one feature I disliked.
I am reaching out for one or all of you gentlemen for guidance in getting this change made.
Thanks in advance for any assistance or advice.

I wouldn't recommend that guy to do a bolt handle on a BB gun

I have to agree with Mr. Kobe..... I hoped for a little better level of craftmanship than that chap exhibits

I’ve seen some projects that were a waste of time, but that one just made it to the top of the list.

Well, that was the first time I've seen an old Mauser gumball welded onto a commercial rifle...
