,working on a 52c sporter using the johnny cash method ( one piece ata time). Don't have any action screws found front screw same as model 70 so problem half solved. Wondering for tang screw instead of using factory method of screw, tang nut and exc. would it work to make a pillar with a step in it threaded on the triggerguard side to pull the tang to the stock as it won't be seen because the custom triggerguard will hide it, the rear guard screw being a wood screw, was also thinking of using a pillar at the front also, unthreaded of course. see any problems with doing it this way? want it to be accurate of course.
