Will the new Winchester M70 stocks fit the post 64 push feeds?

Winchester told me several years ago that all post-64 actions had a 7-5/8" CTC guard screw spacing, with the exception of the more recent short actions. All pre-64 actions had 7-1/2" CTC guard screw spacing. So, based on that, as far as I know, I'd say they should fit fine.

True, but not complete; I have built many rifles on the post 64 smooth feed actions and installed some of them on current M70 stocks. They are all the same platform, so the receivers fit. However...if you have the newer one piece bottom metal, you will need a spacer in order for it to fit; those are readily available and cost like ten cents. I have also used washers. I'll take a picture of one later.
I prefer the 64 actions; they work smoother than the claw ones, and since I know how to operate a bolt action, so the "CRF" does not affect me. I have those too....
