Any ideas on where to find the old paddle-style Ruger stocks?

I'll swap you a boat paddle 30/06 MK11 for a Houge overmould rubber 30/06 MK11 Stock [Big Grin]

Sound like a good deal [Wink]

Why would you want that butt-ugly stock? They now have a new synthetic that looks pretty good.

Nebraska: I replaced the one on my .338 Ruger with a Hogue Rubber-Overmolded stock. I bought this stock from Cabela's for $100.00. It has aluminum pillars, but there is another one ($200.00) that has a full aluminum bed.

You didn't say what is the caliber of the rifle you want to "boat paddle" for, but if it is a .338WM you can have mine free. Just e-mail me a note so we can arrange S&H from Alaska to you, and you can pay for the shipment.

I've got one you can have too- it's from a 7mm rem Mag.

I got a big lesson on stock design when I replaced that thing. All of a sudden my sharp kicking 7mm became a pussycat. I used a B&C synthetic stock.
