Hello i have a BSA royal in 243 which i would like to rebarrel to 284 win [the Royal is the model with Mauser extractor ]the 243 is of no interest to me and action being short ,a 284 is the only thing that comes to mind .Before i go ahead with it [ 284 being a rebated rim ] is it a hassle to make it feed ? Thankyou for any advice on it

Getting a Mauser-type action to feed the .284 Winchester case is not too much trouble. That said, I'm not very familiar with the BSA; is it a Mauser-type action?
