i got the bolt for my cz 550 9.3x62 back from czusa. the c-clip setup is gone and it now has the double nut setup, just like my other 550(6.5x55) had from the factory. it took 11 days from my house, back to my house...not bad IMHO. the guy i always talked to at czusa is called C.J. he was always helpful and seems like a decent guy. i figured all you c-clip owners might be interested. cheers...bud

Have you checked into having a local machinest make a couple of knurled nuts for you? All he needs to know is the thread on the pin (you have a example he can look at), the outside diameter (same as the main nut) and how thick you want it (main nut to end of thread?).
He can make both at once (drill tap and knurl) than part off from the bar stock to get the thickness desired. Shouldn't cost more than 20 dollars (or a six pack of Fosters), heck he might do it in exchange for letting him shoot the Rigby [Big Grin] (although that might be the expensive way to go [Confused] )

pc..i think tailgunner has the best idea that i've heard. maybe you can get a smith to "rig" something on your existing firing pin that will replace the clip. what does the CZ distributer in australia have to say about the situation? czusa sent a guy to europe to get the parts from the factory. one thing to keep in mind...the guy at czusa told me that it's not just a matter of getting the two nuts to screw onto the existing pin. the pin itself is also different. i don't know if any "fitting" is required or not. so, if your ditributer there won't handle it for you, i think getting a smith to "invent" a solution is the best route. sorry you guys are having so much trouble. good luck and let us know how it works out. cheers...bud

Budiceale & tailgunner,

cz rifles are imported by Winchester Australia and I really think that they do not care much about cz rifles I mean they would be more interested in pushing winchesters than cz's but yeah I might post off my bolts to my smith and have him solve the problem.
