Does any one offer a three position safety for a lefty mini Mauser? I've looked at the likely suppliers, Gentry, Dakota and NECG and they offer right and left hand Mauser safeties. Are they interchangeable with the mini Mauser? Forgive me if it's a dumb question.

"...I advise the gun. While this gives a moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprize, and independance to the mind. Games played with the ball and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be the constant companion of your walks." Take a look at the Les Brooks Thread on stock making, he fits one to a mini mauser, on the tailgate of a truck....

I'll go back through that thread but I looked at it the other day to see if I could determine the brand of safety. I might have missed it though. I'll look again. That's a great read anyway.

If you are asking if a bolt shroud made for a 98 Mauser will fit a mini; it won't.

That was my question as well as where to find one for a mini Mauser and if they are being made by anyone. I checked Recknagel and Granite Mountain without any luck. Thanks.

Guess I'll have to be content with the existing safety. I knew it was a long shot to start with but it's funny what turns up once in a while. Thanks fellas.
