FjoldI haven't seen any change from the original 1:14" but I haven't bought a new Remington in 40 years.
I have a 1:10" twist 22.250 AI barrel now but when it wears out, I will probably go with a 1:8" twist.

p dog shooterI have a 22-250 I have thought about putting a fast twist barrel on. In 1-8 to shoot the newer heavy bullets.

MyNameIsEarlIm my opinion 1:12 is the sweet spot but it totally depends on what weight bullets. 1:12 is good for 45 gr to about 70 grain in my rifle. If you want to shoot lighter 1:14. Heavier then 1:10 or 8

Thats a good chart. Mine is a 12 twist but I would prefer about a 9. To me those itty bity pills are a waste of a good 22-250.

customboltBig fan of heavier bullets as well.
No interest here in a .22-.250.
But if I was this seems like a good starting place for a 1/8" twist. Not a fan of any ballistic tipped bullets.
Nos 70 grainer blems.
