I've got a young hunter who has a model 70 Win. Featherweight Long action in 257 Roberts. This is a push feed with floor plate bottom metal.
I asked over in the classified section if anybody had a stock for cheap that I could cut off for him. One fellow offered to give the young hunter a stock but it is with a blind magazine.So I was wondering if I go with this stock would it be just a matter of getting a new trigger guard or would I need a new magazine box as well. It seems simple or am I missing something else.
