| I add it to the first sealer sand in coat. Wet sanded into pores, wipe across grain. When dry, sand back to bare wood. Repeat until pores are filled then final sand and then apply whatever finish you are using. |

| I put some charcoal from the fireplace in a heavy ziplock bag and worked it with a rolling pin to produce a fine black carbon powder. Then mix with your sealer/pore filler of choice and wet sand in. |

| I've used copy machine toner for 30+yrs and have had no problems. Wet sand it in. Or use it in very sparingly in the final ultra thin rubbed out coats of linseed on the surface. |
