Are the dovetail rings and mounts interchangeable between these two brands. I have both and the dovetails appear to be the same size, but I definitely don't want to damage a ring or mount in order to find out. Thanks in advance.

Yes, they are interchangeable. Burris, too.

Caution when saying Burris is also interchangeable.

Some years back Burris and Redfield had a fight over who owned the rights to the traditional dovetail size and design etc.

Because of this, Burris manufactured for a time, a completely new and non interchangeable type of dovetail system, totally proprietary and quite the stupid idea.
