Dang! I thought I double-clicked about everything. I thought it was on that site, but I just didn't look hard enough. Thanks! Any comment if 1/10" is enough for a 400 grain .411?

Does anyone know the twist of a .405 Winchester reproduction. I went to the www.winchester-guns.com site and couldn't find it. I have some Woodleigh 400 grain bullets in .411 caliber and I'd like to use them in the rifle and wonder if the twist will stabilize them. (I'd measure the twist myself, but the rifle is with a buddy an he's out of town for a bit). The gun shoots Hornady 300 grain SP's just fine, but I'l like to shoot heavier bullets. The Woodleigh's will feed if loaded to the chanellure, but engage the rifleing. I have access to a reamer with with I can extend the throat a bit and have the 400 grain bullets work, but I don't want to fool with it if the bullets most probably won't stabilize. HELP!

Go here: http://www.winchesterguns.com/prodinfo/catalog/detail.asp?cat_id=534&type_id=070&cat=015C and click on the item number. It says 1 in 10. Dennis
