I have an interarms .375 h&h and would like to rebarrel to .416 rem. Can anyone out there recommend a good barrel and gunsmith to do the job?

Greg, This really depends on where you are and what you want done. If you want a no worries Job, call pac-nor.. it'll be 12 weeks and $400. Jeffe

Greg...hard to believe you can't find a good gunsmith to rebarrel your rifle in Anchorage. PacNor barrels are very good and for the price you were quoted it includes squaring up your action. And, Chris now has access to a gunsmith who will also rebed your barrel if needed.

My choice would be Jim Brockman, Jack Belk or John Ricks, but John is not taking anymore jobs if I'm not mistaken, so use Brockman or Belk,...they use mostly Lothar Walther barrels, that is the only barrels I use these days.
