Howdy.

A Marlin 336 Marauder in .35 Remington FINALLY found its way to my stable. I removed the cheap scope and mount and am now in need of the 4 "plug screws" for the receiver top. Without my going direct to Marlin, does anyone have a set with clean slots they would want to part with?

Many thanks in advance, Bo

They are either 6-48 or 8-40 screws, either available from Brownells with a nice sort of domed top on them.

THANKS, fellers.

OK, anyone have a Set of Four 8-40 BLUE Positive Stop Plug Screws NEW that would fit my Marlin 336 receiver top?

Marlin's service center in KY could not help. I have Brownells catalog but cannot find them in it.

Simplest thing to do is find a set that I know someone on here probably has.

THANKS AGAIN and y'all have a great week. Bo

Thanks to SmallCal, a dozen of these screws are now en route to me. I can use the extras for another Marlin 336 I have, should I ever remove the scope and mount presently found on it.

Additionally, I had an old account w/ Brownells through my FFL and got a fair price on the little things.

I was somewhat surprised that Marlin's service center in KY did not have them and could not tell me any suggestions on who might..........kinda strange ??

Now, if I can just find a rear sight for the Remington 597 .22 Magnum that just came home with me....................... Roll Eyes

Y'all take care, Bo
