I am also still trying to master the single beaded cheekpiece... But I was feeling a little frisky.

So, is it just a ledge or is it a cove? I have also heard that is less apt to get damaged because it doesn't have a sharp/square edge...

Sure looks good though...

There is a square edged ledge and then it rolls over.

A file with a chisel blade ground on the tip along with some inletting scrapers work better than a power tool I suspect..detailing is the fun part of stockmaking IMO.
