Anyone know the whereabouts of Rick Stickley and if he is still making barrels?

He made one for me back in the early 90's.

Integral quarter rib, barrel band, and banded front sight, all made from the same piece of steel as the barrel. Got it from him many months overdue, but got it nonetheless.

He disappeared with many projects and guns outstanding.

I spoke to another gunsmith in Idaho who used to work with Stickley....he told me that Rick now collects and trades the "collectable" Matel "Hot Wheels" cars.

You might track him down via that route.

I can tell you this, lots of people are looking for him, with very little success. They don't seem to be happy with him.

He made some of the most artistic barrels I have ever seen. Expensive but beautiful. He is wasting his talent if he is spending his time trading "Hot Wheels".

Fla3006,

I suspect Rick is on extended mental holiday.
