Just a reminder that the swap meet will be this Saturday. Plenty of inside space in case of bad weather. The forecast is clear and 75deg. Several of the guys on the forum will be in attendance. It is all free, food, drink, and table space. Bring all your gun related items. Shilen will have some good barrel specials also. For more info email jennifer.hull@shilen.com or papawlambert@starband.net

Butch,

I am planning on being there and will have several items of interest to clear out.

My original stock duplicator and patterns. It is time to sell out. I will run and demo the machine to show it in operation. My machine is 130 lbs and is 2 X 4 ft which is easy to carry around. A Precise high speed grinder with speeds to 45,000 rpm's for someone that needs that speed.

Butch:

I'm asking this in the open forum since others may want to know as well. Do we need to pre-register? Are there tables or do we need to bring our own chairs and tables? I survived the cattle work last weekend but didn't get to Tulsa until Sunday. One day is just not nearly enough for Tulsa. One of our esteemed members had a gun I could barely pass on, but did, at least so far.......if it hadn't of been in .250 Savage, I'd have already given in.

I've been thinking, always dangerous, that I've got scads of stuff I could convert to cash and then move up to something else. I'm planning on coming. Plus, I've got some problems with safeties on some DGAs and need to consult.

When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere.

NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR.

I have come to understand that in hunting, the goal is not the goal but the process.

They were asking for people to call in, more to guage the food and drink. We will have plenty of room. Bring your own table or tables. They are promoting this in their city this year. They are thinking they may be a lot of buyers this year instead of us mainly swapping amongst ourselves.

We have reservations at the Days Inn for Friday night. We should be at Shilens around 5 or 6 PM.

We are bring a variety of "stuff". It will be at least two tables full. I have decided not to bring the Benchmaster milling machine.

It may be 6pm before I get there. I hope Mr Jorgen Nielsen makes it. Keith, my Grandson wants to be your first customer. I'm bringing powder, primers, loaded ammo, and rest tops. David Christman will have my double square bridge Mexican with the half octagon barrel. I think he is bringing 2 of my wood blanks. He will have several pushfeed Winchester receivers, and a square bridge 98 that he is working on. David said he would bring a few singleshot rifles. I have first dubs on his Parker that needs work.
