Has anyone tried one of these? I'm probably going to, but just wanted to see if there anyone else has checked out the quality, finish, etc. Not quite sure about the screws being visible, instead of hidden in the dovetail -- guess it wouldn't matter.

Todd,

I have bought two differant ones in the past from them.

One set was 3 leaf on an island type base for the rear and a ramp front with a small bead and a large bead that flipped up for poor light.

The other set was a single express rear mounted on a quarter rib.

All of them were of reasonably good quality for the price.

Yes, I bought two of the one fixed two folding Whitworth type sights. Both were of fair quality for the price. One had a base that was less than perfect, the other had a slide less than perfect, so I matched the good base with the good slide and sold the other set, actually practically gave it away. Anyway, you get what you pay for. Just don't expect to get something that is in 100% great shape at only 30% of the original cost.
