Where can I find cheap bolt knobs?

Hi, im looking to buy some bolt knobs in rubber for universal fitting. Do you know where I can find them, google doesnt help me.
Here is a picture of one kind of rubber bold knob:

Usually when I hear the word "Cheap" I think of Harbor Freight. But I doubt they have those. Big Grin Look at a machine tool supply store. That looks like the type of knob that Lathe control levers use. Or, go to Toys R Us and buy some toy balls and drill and thread them. You said cheap!

You might try McMaster-Carr. They have all sorts of odd ball stuff that can come in handy.

I could be wrong, but I suspect the guys who make them for firearms get them from the guys who make them for everyone.

It appears that scope clearance issues are not a factor. You could go to an automotive supply story and ask for a "Hurst shifter knob". It would be an instant classic.
