I have a Rem mod#722 in the 257 Roberts calaber. It is a very light rifle and has a metal but plate. Does anyone have an ideah on were to get a replacement stock for this rifle. I guess a composit would be my first pick.

Except where the bolt handle notch is cut, where the "dog knot" is on the barrel, where the safety lever is and the bottom metal cutout is slightly different, a Remington 700 SA stock will fit with minor alteration. Richards Microfit makes a stock for it (http://www.rifle-stocks.com/actions_available.htm).
