I have a rem700 xcr 300 wm with jewell trigger, aluminum v blocl laminate stock, leupold 3.5x14x40 cds scope.
I really like the trigger but have a big problem with safety. It does not have enough tension on the lever. It will practically go into battery on its own. I found that i have to constantly be checking it when hunting to make sure i am not carrying a rifle thats in battery.
Is this normal for the jewell? can i get a heavier spring for the safety? None of my other re700s have a custom trigger but neither do i have to constantly check that the safety is on.

Anyone have similar results or does my trigger have to back to the manf ?
