1903a1 springfield firing pin
My customized springfield has the original two piece firing pin. Is it possible and/or feasible to replace it with a one piece mauser style firing pin?

Yes, it is. This was a pretty common change made to Springields back when they were among the most popular actions for custom rifles. Used to be, there were such items available for purchase from outfits like Brownell's. But I am not sure if any are still being made, and if so, by whom.

Numrich in West Hurley, NY used to sell them, altered from .22 1922 strikers. Name changed to Gun Parts Corporation, might still have 'em. Also somewhere along the line in the 50s or 60s I think American Rifleman had a drawing.
