I see tons of after market stuff for Rugar 10/22 but I've not seen anything for a Marlin .22 Why ? My marlin 7000 .22 will out shoot anything at the range and it has a lousy trigger.

If you check on Marlins website they have made a new trigger for all there marlin .22's maybe you could buy one from them.

Rifle Basix makes a nice trigger for the Marlin for about $65 from MidwayUSA.com. I replaced the trigger on my 917V and I'm quite happy with it. As far as I'm concerned, the Marlin new, improved "Fire Control System" aka trigger, could use some more improving. The side-to-side play on the stock trigger was the most I had seen on any rifle before.
