mark smithPC I would avoid the Warnes as I tried fitting a new set to my Ruger 77 on the weekend. The tongue on the front ring would not fit into the slot in the receiver. then when removing the rings the torw head screw on the base stripped. I was only using an Allen key tool which came with the mounts. So I was not exerting a lot of force. Very diappointing.

M1TankerI have had only great experiences with Warne rings and bases, especially with the Premier line. Brownells has the best selection but I am not sure about the shipping issue.
http://www.brownells.com/aspx/NS/store/ProductDetail.aspx?p=19760&title=MAXIMA+BASES+-+A-IIf you click on the "scope parts" under the "more info" portion it brings up a screen that talks about export issues and such. I would contact Warne or Brownells directly and see if there are any issues at all involved with shipping to you.

Funny, my experience with their Maxima QD rings for both the CZ dovetailed base and the Weaver/US MIL-STD-1913 base has been completely opposite of yours.
Thanks for the help folks !!
I have a good run with warnes and had issues with talley's so there you go ?? Luck of the draw I suppose.

Sounds like a business opportunity to me. Why not contact Warne directly and import the line and make a few bucks.
