What is the average price to fit a recoil pad in your area??

If you have a belt sander and masking tape, it's pretty easy to do yourself.

I actually did this with a small hand held belt sander that uses half inch belts & it was very easy to do & came out better than those done by a couple of local smiths.

The key is to get the wood really square first & then make a gentle hollow in the butt of the stock so that the rim of the pad sits on the wood evenly & the pressure from the screws holds it firm to the wood without any gaps what so ever. Masking & sanding then gives a good finish.
